Former City High Robbie Pardlo talk struggles with alcoholism on A&E’s Intervention

Remember City High? They were a popular R&B/Pop group that hit big in the 2000, with a few songs like “What Would You Do” and “Caramel“. The group disbanded in 2003, but one of the group members Robbie Pardlo turned into a stone cold alcoholic. Desperation set in, and his family staged an intervention on an upcoming episode of A&E’s “Intervention” making him think it was just a documentary about his addiction.
Tonight’s episode of Intervention on A&E revealed a sad blast from the past for fans of R&B group City High. Group member Robby Pardio is shown chugging vodka and is then confronted by his family about his alcoholism.
Robby says that he went into a depression after his group member and girlfriend Claudette Ortiz left him and married City High partner Ryan Toby instead. And that was compounded by his failed music career.
